"This large and traditional market town near the
Italian end of the Frjus tunnel lies close to Montgenvre and Sestriere,
but is not part of The Milky Way circuit. The resort is popular with
Italians, who flood in from Turin at weekends. The surprisingly large and
challenging ski area, spread over three sectors, is praised for its lack
of crowds even during half-term week. We have favourable reports of
Ski School Bardonecchia: excellent, even though it was busy.
Childcare for small children is non-existent."

140 km of Skiing with a wonderful twisty steep black run with big moguls.
27 paid a visit to the Susa Valley and we not only managed to get Paul Richardson taken off the mountain in a blood wagon after his first turn of the day, but Roberta the rep also used the service after we showed her where the World's smallest moguls were.
Bardonnechia was the first resort where the ski instructor managed to peg some
woman who was not even in our group - top man ! Even the pub dog was pegged.
