"Located on the borders
between Lombardy and Trentino Alto Adige, surrounded by the beautiful
mountains of the Adamello-Presanella, Ortles Cevedale and Brenta ranges,
Passo del Tonale is a vast and panoramic natural amphitheatre which
spreads between 1884 and 3100 meters of height."

90 km of piste on a mountain pass. Has it's own glacier which is great fun when the
powder is up to your knees !
Ian returned to Rotaski and just four went and got snowed in when the sky dumped two metres of snow overnight on the Passo
Tonale.
1994
Rotaski's 2nd trip to Tonale was
during Christmas where we found out that the Italians don't do much in the
way of celebrating or decorating for Christmas. We also found that they
don't spend any time preparing the pistes apart from the one run that
Alberto Tomba is skiing an exhibition run at the end of the week so
consequently, all the new snow blows off the un-maintained pistes.
